Fishing Creek

From its start in Sugar Valley to its arrival into the head of the Nittany Valley, Fishing Creek passes through a mountain gap in the Bald Eagle Mountains, making a section known as "the Narrows." A destination for many anglers, this section of Fishing Creek takes on the characteristics of a mountain stream, but carries with it cold fertile waters which trout love.

One of the projects undertaken by the chapter is litter pick-up along "the Narrows." As the sign states, this represents the chapter's long term commitment to a waterway.
